Q: |
What free shipping is provided? |
A: |
Free priority 3-5 day shipping is included in the registration of either PALS exam and is provided for the shipment of the hard copy PALS provider card. For those who purchase the PALS certification, a free provider manual is included which requires the applicant purchase separate shipping for it during the initial registration. |
Q: |
Can I complete my PALS certification through your exam? |
A: |
Yes. The PALS certification examination we offer can be completed 100% online whether you are a first time applicant or if your certification has expired for over one year. Our particular PALS certification exam does not require the applicant to attend additional local classes or complete an in-person skills assessment evaluation. Once an applicant has passed our online certification exam, they will then receive their digital and hard copy PALS provider cards. |
Q: |
Will I be able to recertify my PALS with your program? |
A: |
Yes. You may enroll in our PALS recertification exam and complete the test 100% online. The registration process is fast and once completed, you may access the online exam from the confirmation page or through the email receipts that are automatically sent to your email upon registration. |
Q: |
Will I receive an AHA provider card through your programs? |
A: |
Our exams are written exclusively in conjunction with clinical recommendations by the American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics found in the most current PALS provider manual. While our programs follow these recommendations and those that meet ECC guidelines, the AHA does not officially endorse any course or exam that can be completed online at this time. This does not in any way imply our programs aren't of the highest integrity in regard to Pediatric Advanced Life Support training and examination. We strictly specialize in PALS programs that are adapted to meet the needs of individuals in this current day and age. Our programs are ideal for practitioners who lead a busy lifestyle and can't delegate the time needed for traditional PALS certification. |
Q: |
Am I required to complete an in-person evaluation? |
A: |
No. Both the PALS certification and recertification exams do not require you to attend an in-person skills assessment evaluation in order to receive your provider card. Preparation is determined by each applicant. We encourage individuals to attend local training courses before or after they complete our programs if they feel they may need additional hands-on education. |
Q: |
How long does this certification stay active? |
A: |
No matter if you've completed the certification or certification programs, your PALS provider certification will remain active for 2 years. We encourage practitioners to recertify within one week of their certification ending date to ensure they are current at all times with their provider status. |
Q: |
If my PALS card is expired, can I still recertify? |
A: |
You may take the PALS recertification program if the date of your card expiration is no later than 6 months from the date you register with our course. If your card has expired for over 6 months, you will be required to enroll in the PALS certification exam. |
Q: |
What is your guarantee policy? |
A: |
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for all applicants who register or purchase products from our organization. Please refer to our terms page for further details regarding our guarantee policy. |
Q: |
What happens after I complete the exam? |
A: |
Once you have finished either of our PALS online exams, your answer choices will be sent immediately to our advisors for review. Provided you adhere to our same-day-review policy, you will receive a response and possible digital provider card attached the same day of your submission. Exams are graded and results are sent by 7:00pm PST each day excluding Saturday and Sunday. |
Q: |
If I fail the exam, what happens next? |
A: |
If you fail either the certification or recertification exam, you will receive an email from our advisors which informs you of your results and the questions which were answered incorrectly. You can immediately access the exam from the text link provided in this email from our staff and retake the test. There is no additional charge to retake either of the online exams. Additionally there is no limit to the number of retakes an applicant may take; however, we encourage individuals to prepare before taking either test. |
Q: |
If I pass the exam, what happens next? |
A: |
When an applicant passes either the certification or recertification exam, they will receive an email from our advisors which will detail the final score they received and include an attached copy of their digital PALS provider card. This email will be sent the same day the exam was submitted for review provided the applicant adhered with the same-day-review policy. The individual will also receive a hard copy PALS card in the mail shortly thereafter according to the shipping selection made upon registration. |
Q: |
How long will I have to complete the exam? |
A: |
Both the certification and recertification exams are not timed. They are designed to be taken at a pace that is comfortable with each individual. Additionally, there is no required timeframe for an applicant to complete either exam from the time they register. Once an individual has registered with the certification or recertification exam, they can immediately begin the exam or wait until a time that is convenient with their schedule to commence. |
